I have been using this 4 days a week for nearly two years as I bike to work. I've dropped it several times, even used it to pound some tent stakes in when I went bike touring. It makes bringing a lock a no-brainer since it's so light and compact. It is by no means indestructible though. Any power tool will chop it easily, but it has so far proven to be a good enough deterrent for a casual thief. The band that cinches the lock in a loop finally broke after a year of use, which was not surprising.

At first this thing was great. Super light, supposedly safe. I've been using it for 2 weeks and it started to break on the belt by the locking block. The metal belt inside was poking through the rubber and the Kevlar was starting to fray. It was poking out from the inside so it's pretty obvious no one had tried to mess with the lock. To top it off , today on my way home the bike mount dropped the lock. I had it strapped down on all 4 of the rubber bumps. The build quality of this product is terrible. This is the worst thing I've ever bought on massdrop and not I can't even return it....

Really good lock, portable and reliable. Use it everyday for a year so far and pretty happy with it. Won't use it for my racing/expensive bike though, but I'd not leave that bike outside anyway.

Very functional lock that has many uses. Clean design, very light with excellent function. I use it as an accessory lock in addition to my main bike lock. Also useful as a travel lock.

Great design and portability. I'm glad I went for the medium length (black) right away, because you will find yourself in a lot of situations where that extra space makes the difference in being able to lock it.

I love that it fits in a jersey pocket! Just wish it was a bit longer cause it's sometimes challenging to find a spot to lock up. Although maybe that has changed since I purchased mine.
