OTTOLOCK HEXBAND Bike Lock

The newest addition to the OTTOLOCK lineup, the Hexband bike lock is stronger than cable locks and lighter than a U-lock. It's made of six layers of high-temper stainless steel bands wrapped in a cut-resistant internal aramid fiber jacket. A chip-resistant Cerakote paint and Santoprene plastic coating ensure the lock won’t scuff or harm the finish on your bike. Ideal for quick stops, its flexible design makes it easy to work with and allows it to lock nearly anything—from skis to scooters. The lock coils down tight so you can throw it in your saddle bag, backpack, or pocket, and the three-dial combination lock means you won't have to worry about losing or misplacing a key.

Based in Oregon, OTTO DesignWorks was founded in late 2014 by a small group of bicycle lovers, product innovators, and technical experts who wanted to create products to fulfill the unmet needs of cyclists and other outdoor enthusiasts. The OTTO DesignWorks team spent about a year developing the cinch lock and the Kickstarter was launched on September 12, 2016. With the help of supporters, the OTTOLOCK reached the $50,000 goal in under 48 hours. By the end, the Kickstarter raised an impressive $352,425 with 4,000 backers.
