Well, I’m on the fence for this purchase. Mainly because you only get one preset to use and the others are 25 dollars each. I wish they would create a package deal with at least three presets, it would make the purchase a lot more fun and involving. That said Darin is on to something here, much like the ACCUDIO App for iPhone which can simulate some of the best headphones out there. No it’s not going to be as good as the actual equipment but it’s fun and the simulated surround in Darin’s software is the best I’ve heard to date…IMO
My Fav’s:
Genelec Recording Studio 7.1/2ch Cello Speakers 7.1/2ch Acoustic Zen Crescendo 7.1/2ch Azen Adagio Plus 7.1/2ch
My favorite two channel systems are the Quad ESL in production between 1957 and 1985, and the Revel Ultima.
I so wanted to like the Wilson Audio Sasha preset but it audibly pops on my setup…
Equip: Sennheiser HD598 with Fiio E10K - Bravo Amp Movies: on-board soundcard without extra equipment
Final note: The ACCUDIO app is based on EQ but OOYH is based on some kind of binaural emulation algorithms collected at the source…I think…crazy good stuff!

poseidon8118Thanks for posting Poseidon8818, I understand. I will think about creating a package deal next time. But one way to look at it is that for the regular price of $149 for one preset, you can get 4 presets. (Massdrop Out Of Your Head with one preset = $75 + 3 more presets @ $25ea. = $75 so the total is $150 for 4 presets.)
Thanks for your feedback too.
If any of the presets have "popping", you are hearing clipping. Please try turning down the output level on your media player app or you can turn down the input levels on the Out Of Your Head Control Panel to eliminate any clipping.
Thanks again, -Darin

Darin_Fong_AudioThanks Darin, lowered output 10dB each channel and that solved it. Well 9.84dB :D
