I really liked what I heard when I plugged in both the online demo and the trial version. I think the stopping point for me is going to be how licensing is handled. I'm constantly moving through devices, I have a primary computer (iMac) at home for most of my processing, a windows PC as a laptop I use for my day job, and a macbook for when I'm on the road for my not day job.
I'm never using them more than one at a time. I don't loan them out or let employees work on them. So the thought that I would need to pay for 3 separate software licenses just to hear the same preset on each device is a stretch for me.
I'm not saying your software isn't worth the expense by any means, I think it's great, it's the only reason I'm spending the time to write this comment. But for now that's going to keep me (in my shoes) from enjoying it.
That being said, I signed up for the mailing list and will look forward to new developments in the future. Thanks Darin!
Thank you for trying Out Of Your Head.
I understand what you are saying about licensing. Believe me, I have thought and worked long and hard about the licensing structure and copy protection. I don't want to go into all the details, but our copy protection method somewhat dictated our options for licensing multiple computers.
It's not ideal, but it's the best I could figure out.
