I apologize if this has been covered before, but is there a FAQ on how to get Out of Your Head to integrate with JRiver Media Center 21? Is it a DSP Studio plug-in or represented as an ASIO/WASAPI sound device?
Out Of Your Head installs as a virtual sound card. Once installed, when launched, Out Of Your Head sets itself to the default playback device on your computer. Then, any audio playing will be processed by Out Of Your Head and then sent to the actual output device to your headphones.
So for JRiver, as long as you us the "Direct Sound" output device, that's all that's required to use Out Of Your Head with JRiver.
You can use WASAPI output to Out Of Your Head , but then you have to use the DSP settings to make sure all audio is converted to 48KHz/24bit at 7.1 channels for output to Out Of Your Head WASAPI.
I hope that answers your question,
