Im having problems with getting any sound out of any channel except for L or R. Using SACDs, HD Tracks, flacs, etc etc. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Outside of using he program like the demo of Dark of Side of the Moon - music filters don't seem to do much. Now it seems like nothing is worth listening to on it except for movies.

Hi awakeningosiris,
In order to get 5.1 or 7.1 audio, your source material has to be encoded in 5.1 or 7.1 audio.
Out Of Your Head does not up-convert 2 channel audio to multi-channel audio. If you have a 2 channel source file, Out Of Your Head will play that audio through the L and R virtual speakers.
Are any of the files you are playing multi-channel files? Some SA-CD's and FLAC's can be multi-channel. How are you playing the SACD's from a computer?
I would double check the source files to make sure they are in fact multi-channel.
There are ways to up-convert 2 channel to 5.1 or 7.1 using plug-ins or functions in the media player apps. JRiver has a DSP function that will do it. FooBar also has a plug-in for doing it.
What media player app are you using to play your files?
Also, listening to 2 channel music through Out Of Your Head is still a great experience. Even with 2 channel, you get the imaging and sound stage that you would listening to a high end two channel speaker setup. In fact most of our customers listen to mostly two channel audio. Listening to music on two speakers (or virtual speakers as the case my be) instead of headphones is a very different experience.
