How do I completely uninstall it? Tried uninstalling it through windows but it keeps popping up back in the sound manager and I can't get my dac connected anymore...
I don't know if it will be any good but maybe you can disable it in playback devices?
are you using windows or mac ?
Disabled it but I was trouble shooting so I needed to get rid of it. It's gone now though.
Windows. Don't worry it's gone now. For anyone that's interested, you need to go into the device manager then to the sound and uninstall it there.
i just listened to the demo on here with my pair of philips fidelio x2 headphones and could localize each speaker and it does sound like its coming from out of the headphones
once installed ,can i still listen without this software or everything has to go through this ? also this will work with my meridian explorer 2 dac ?
I don't know. I'm having serious issues with my DAC right now after installing the trial, I'm not sure if it's related to the program or not yet.
In order to listen to your audio with Out Of Your Head processing, the audio must be run through the Out Of Your Head software. But when Out Of Your Head is not running, your audio signal is unaffected by Out Of Your Head.
It should work fine with your Meridian Explorer DAC.
Sorry you are having problems.
As I said in my e-mail, we use Schiit USB DACs on our main listening system and have not found any problems between the Schiit drivers and Out Of Your Head. We also have many customers using Schiit products successfully with Out Of Your Head.
I'm not saying that the problems you are having were not caused by Out Of Your Head, but with so many variables on Windows systems, anything is possible.
Please let me know if you would like help getting your Schiit DAC working again.
