Just tried the trial version and it made my speakers distort like crazy... Setup: Schiit Bifrost Uber->Lehmann Linear->SMSL SA-60->Monitor Audio Bronze 2. Tried it again with my HD800 straight from the linear and it wasn't as bad but still some major crackling. Not impressed at all, kind of scared for my speakers.

Hi Natim, First, Out Of Your Head is not designed to be used with speakers. Not that there should be any distortion or crackling, but using speakers with Out Of Your Head is not recommended since Out Of Your Head is generating binaural-like stereo audio for headphones.
As for the distortion, sometimes simply switching output devices in the Out Of Your Head Control Panel back and forth can help "reset" the output to your DAC and eliminate the distortion. If you don't have multiple output devices listed in the Out Of Your Head Control Panel, please try enabling your built-in audio and relaunching Out Of Your Head. You should see both the built-in audio and your DAC listed and be able to switch back and forth between the two in the Out Of Your Head Control Panel.
Another possibility is that the distortion is due to clipping. This can happen depending on the media player app you are using. Simply lowering the output volume of your media player app can help eliminate and crackling during loud parts of the audio you are playing.
Of course if you still have problems, please contact us directly via our website and we can get your system working.
We use Schiit DAC's on some of our test systems so I am confident that the problem is not your DAC or the Schiit drivers.
