The sample tracks are impressive and are "out of your head" in an immersive way. Great for movies and some types of non vocal music.
However, it does not replicate listening to a high end speaker system. Firstly, the sense of space relative to other sounds/instruments seems fixed and unnatural; like cardboard cutouts, albeit convincing in its own individual space. Secondly, the purity of the sound especially on vocals, sounds diminished/emaciated/thinner or just processed sounding.
At $75 I'll pass as I don't use my headphones to watch movies all that much and I listen to a lot of vocals. Also, no Apple as of yet. Perhaps, at around $10 I'll bite for the novelty and I won't feel so bad when the novelty wears off.
