*Please* get a drop in for the long sleeve version! I have two and they’re far and away the best shirts I own. The fabric is cooler and lighter than anything else I’ve worn.

Bought this shirt for a hiking trip to the desert. Worked extremely well - it somehow doesn’t get wet from sweat - sweat just evaporated through where it's tight to skin, while providing excellent sun protection. Had some rough adventures in the desert and it stood up to abrasion like a champ, and stretched to accommodate all kinds of movement, as expected. Dust and sand just brushed off of it even when I was sweating a lot. It did feel a bit "synthetic" against the skin initially - not sure how to describe it otherwise. However, I did NOT wash it before I wore it the first time and I didn't feel the "synthetic" thing after the first wash so I either was completely used to it or wash helped somehow. Did not chafe my nipples - didn't wear an undershirt. Bonus was that I wore it on the plane as well since it’s a nice looking shirt and just washed it before and after the hike - it dries really quickly. Best shirt for outdoorsy summer adventures. Will get more of these. Just remember to get lighter colors if you intend to be out in the open sun as it'll reflect sunlight better.

The Astroman is far, far better than other similarly styled shirts. I have 4 of them and want more so i never have to wear anything else. The fit is perfect, the stretch is great, and they fight off stink for way longer than I'd expect. A Med fits me pefectly. I'm 5'9" 140#, 39" chest, 30" waist, broad shoulders. I'll prob order them here. $52 is actually a great price, because they are so popular and rarely go on sale. It's way more than I'd usually spend on a shirt but this one is worth it.

The $50 price of these shirts made me hold off on ordering these a couple of weeks ago when they were available. But I really like the color options here and hope they return at some point - perhaps at a better price point.
