How do these convertible pants compare to OR Equinox pants? Looks similar with very minor diff.

Would be nice if these had a zipper running along the sides from the bottom to the point at which you can unzip the "shorts part" of the pants. That way you could convert the pants to shorts without taking your shoes off, like with the Norrona Bitihorn Zip-off.

NEver fall off your skis or snowboard and get your thin breathable pants wet.
That said, perhaps snow where you are is not wet like ours here in Australia.
