Great light weight rain pants. I ordered the xl men’s size so I could pull them on over my hiking pants. I’m 6’ and 34 waist and 32 inseam. The waist is good. They are a bit long but I’m ok with that. If I was just going to wear the rain pants I would have ordered the large.

I just got back from an 8 day hiking trip, on the AT, through Georgia. I used these pants for both rain protection as well as for wind protection and heat retention on chilly days. They were maravelous. I often wore them without shorts and was super comfortable. The sizing was spot on for me.

As I haven't been to any substantial rain since I received this pants I can mainly comment about the fit and features. I did wear them for several minutes while walking my dog in a windy downpour and they kept me dry. The fit is perfect for me, I went for men's 30 even though I usually wear 29 and most american brands tend to be on the large side, I followed OR's website size guide and it turn to be true to size, very happy with it. For minimalist rain pants these look very high quality, they have these thick, rubber cuffs on the ankles and waist that cling to your boot. I have other OR products and I am very pleased with them. Overall seems like the perfect balance between functionality, durability and price.
