KrelbitI buy Gaterons [I still do] mostly Greens and Blues (some Browns as well). I bought Outemu Blues (because they are no Greens available) during last drop for testing them.
Each one of us rates switches a different way, soI will just dump my own experience: with Gaterons (regardless Blue or Greens), I need to handpick switches for finding those working "properly". They all function properly - have yet to encounter a DOA switch - it is only that I get like 80 switches, out of every 120, on every batch, that walk and talk how I want them to. Some of them only demonstrate their "bad behavior" only after they are placed on a board - so I usually use new keyboard for 2-3 weeks, before I decide which switch needs to be replaced. It's only after 1-2 desoldering sessions that I get consistent weights and acoustics. With Outemu Blues, every single one of them feels the same. Like they are cloned. Same weight, same sound.
I would suggest people to try them. Maybe group-buy 120 switches with one or two friends and test them. They are indeed different. Some people will get disappointed, some will like them. They look "cheap", both in looks and in touch, but they are at least consistent and for me they are also pleasant when under the keycap.
Myself, I will join again this one round. Haven't yet figured out quantities and switch color(s).
DISCLAIMER: I keep buying Gaterons as well. I am one of those who like having options - as opposed to those people who are after "The Best™" switch. So, it's your fault if you took my advice.
