Here is some details on what happened with this game. As a kickstart it raised 1.4 Million dollars. They had hired on Ninja Division to do the miniatures. If you got any of the pewter miniatures from a con tose are Ninja Division designs. For some reason PP didn't like the designs and fired ND. The miniatures you get in tis game 'APPEAR' to be vey badly scaled down versions of the Bandia (unlicensed) resin models from the 90s. There is no evidence of this but they do highly resemble them as do the assembly instructions. They are very hard to assemble and lack solid detail once painted.
PP Shipped what amounts to 1/3 of the product promised to backers as what was called Wave 1. Thats what is in the box. The other 2/3 and all the bonus content was never delivered. That is right about 1M in funds that was just outright stolen from backers. The kickstart agreement PP was under at the time stated that if the project failed they had to refund the money. This never happened, making it outright theft.
Last fall Harmony Gold tried to provide PP with assistance as they were also excited to see the game happen, and even tried to connect them with partners that could help them complete the game. In the end PP refused the help and HG gave them till the end of the ear to complete the project or lose their licensing. PP failed but told HG they were close and got an extension. They missed the Extension and HG revoked the license in either March or April and gave them 30 days to sell off all their stock. I think there was a small extension given to the stock sell-off as well.

bmmcwhirtOk to add a little information to your "story" mini design to get a little more specific the Zentraedi were already done before PB "Kevin" decided to stick their nose in, and when they did we got the UEDF which "Kevin" being the industrious businessman he is decided to save a few bucks so he went with a flat 2 part (upper/lower) style mold (this is a mold that is like a few inches thick), and because of that decision we got the Bandai style models we have now, as to what PB released it was estimated around 1/2 of the project (more then a 1/3rd), of which the half delivered also included some of the bonus content, in fact most of what was not delivered was a few models for the big backers (Battle Cry on up) and the add on order packs. as to HG's license deal with Palladium believe it or not the kickstarter project had nothing to do with it (well it did in that is the reason HG gave them a year free extension), but the license was cancelled purely because of money, PB could not pay for the license Kevin begged and pleaded to get an extension, but HG already gave him a year free extension and wasn't going to give more (after all they are out to make money), now if you wanted to come out with accusations at Palladium books you could have gone with some items which might have a better belief in like the Northern Gun Books which came out after PB got the RRT Kickstarter money, or how PB has managed to keep the lights on for the past few years with dismal sales and lack of any new material, or the warehouse full of extra RRT stuff that Kevin hoped would pay for wave 2. any of those would be more believable then what you just said. As to Kevin stealing the money that is up for the courts to decide. not the court of public opinion either.

scrappydooKevin is a FRAUD. The fact is the backer money was per the KS terms first and foremost to secure completion of the KS for backers. Kevin spent it on wast overproduction of introductory sets so he could generate a higher profit then use some funds from that to move on to wave two. It isn't going to court because the community is fragmented, the cases are around the world, and no lawyer in their right mind would take this pending a settlement as Kevin would dissolve before paying one cent (there are no assets). Kevin's guilt is clear, don't be an apologist for that piece of filth. So where are these sets coming from? Miniature Market bought them up I was informed but they do not sell here... How much do you want to bet these were marked destroyed and are being handled through a friend of Kevin...

KennethHYou obviously need to read my comments saying i'm an apologist for Kevin, hell anyone who knows me, knows It would be a cold day in hell before I make any excuse for Kevin, as to where these are coming from? you may be right they may be selling from a friend of Kevin's, but MM did not buy all their product, PB sold a bunch of stock at wholesale rates at their open house. and a few people got like a pallet or two of stuff. hell if I was there I would have snagged a couple pallets myself.

scrappydooAnd if I were Kevin, a lying duplicitous scumbag, I’d have “sold” a couple pallets at $5-$10 a copy to my buddy for sale at a later date. Who is selling these? Without knowing that there is a serious risk this money is going back into Kevin’s pocket.

KennethHWell let's see there is very little if any profit in these, since the cost of shipping would be cost prohibitive for someone out to make a profit, whoever is selling them thought they would make money but realized they were sitting on a red herring and trying to offload them, but on the other hand you could be right, there is just no telling.

KennethHAlso at say $5-$10 a copy for a starter set there is no profit, after you take out cost of item, shipping and massdrop fees, there is nothing left. Kevin would have been better off just selling them when he did and be done with them.
