lastzeroI was planning on starting a poll with the GH5 and a few other cameras. I think they did the A7R II ages and ages ago because they couldn't get the GH4 back when I first started the poll, it was too popular at the time I assume. Hopefully we can get a GH5 here soon.

This is a good price.. Tempting.. I was looking at either Olympus OM-D m5, or just switching over to the Sony system.
Buy at $730, this is worth a consideration. I'm mostly into photography, not videography though.

You can get this body for around 720$ here in Sweden, brand new, so I fail to see how 899$ is a deal...

It is actually cheaper in Hungary where we got 27% tax ( which is really high! ) so I wouldn't call it 40% off at all..

Hmm, this is very tempting but the price is not much better than gray market. Has anyone have to deal with Massdrop re: warranty for photography equipments?

Well-off people don't get that way by being fiscally irresponsible. If you can get it for less, then they will. And if you genuinely need the extra capability, then spending 1k on a camera you will need to upgrade in a month or two is just silly.

noviceindisguiseThat's making an assumption that a person would need to upgrade. For many, the camera in this drop might be THE upgrade they need. SLR Direct has this camera body down to $809, never dealt with them, though.
