This looks like second edition of the base game and expansions... nothing is wooden in these. Massdrop should update the descriptions.

MojonirYes, thanks for pointing that out. These are the 2nd edition (2013) games, and the description has been updated. I have read that if you email Z-Man support about wanting wooden pieces, they might ship them out to you. Also, as @PieBandit has pointed out, the 2nd edition has different card backs, so the 1st edition and 2nd edition expansions are not compatible. Another way around this problem besides buying the deck is to just use card sleeves!
