Wow Pandora has gone downhill. I was an early user with the free product, and later did a couple years at the $36/year price. Even then it was questionable if it was worth the price, as there was still limited skipping of songs. Now they want you to pay almost double $5/month or $60 a year, and you still can't skip more than a few songs.
Compare that to $10 a month for Spotify Premium that gives me full control and unlimited access to almost all the music out there, with 320Kbps streams.
Pandora did "radio" better than Spotify does, and I would buy back in, but it would need to be more like $25 a year or less, for the limited amount that I use it.

markp9069Compare any of that to purchasing lossless albums in digital from your artist of choice and streaming them to yourself anywhere in the world with a raspberry pi and a network storage. Support the artists!

atdcI still buy albums on CD and rip to FLAC. I use Spotify to supplement my CD collection, because it would be impossible to buy everything. I wish there was a direct way to support the artists! Even buying an album on CD or vinyl puts more money in the label company's pockets rather than the artist. I wish more artists would sell direct instead of selling out to a label.
