The M24 Powered Speakers from Peachtree Audio are—visually speaking—quite striking. With their bamboo enclosures and the start black contrast provided by the speaker cones, they’ll look great in a minimalist or wood-toned space. On the sound quality front, the M24s are just as striking, thanks to 50-watts of power per speaker driven by the impressive four-inch fiberglass woofers and one-inch soft-dome tweeters for definition and sparkly high end. The I/O on tap is also pretty impressive, offering optical and RCA, with a toggle for standard aux level or phono preamp on the latter. You’ll also find a USB input that allows you to use the M24s as a dedicated DAC—and Peachtree has made sure to deliver plenty of resolution for that use case with 24-bit, 96 kilohertz decoding. Each pair of M24 speakers ships with a dedicated remote and virtually everything you’ll need to get hooked up right out of the box.
