nope.
its the original and the pro. Probably best to wait for v3 to come out. the prices of the original and pro have been going down slowly, but surely.

Been using the Clip (not Pro) for over a year and a half with a Fuji X-E2 and various lenses (14mm, 16mm, 23mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4 and 10-24) and absolutely love it. Hiking through national parks earlier this year I was stopped numerous times by other hikers who wanted info on how the camera was attached to my backpack shoulder strap (similar to how it's shown in the product photo).
I've also used this on my belt while riding scooters through Thailand and never thought twice about it coming off.
2 things of note. In my particular case, the 23mm f/1.4 rubs when putting it on and off, the bottom of my lens has some nice brassing on it now.
Second, and most importantly, spend the $10 and get the longer screws (http://amzn.to/2BrSCFI) if you plan to use the Capture Clips on anything besides a thin web belt or thin leather belt. The ones included are pointless for any kind of thick leather or backpack strap.

Good to know thanks. I also have a Fuji X-E2 and shoot mainly with the 18-55mm kit lens or the 35mm. I have an extra hand grip on mine which offsets the tripod mount to be inline with the optical axis. Do you think this would interfere with the Capture clip?

Capture Clip v3 is soon to be released. kickstart page says Dec 2017. Massdrop is expected to ship out the packages on Dec 20th. Any chance we can get the v3 on a drop soon?
P.S - I already have the v2 CaptureClip which I use pretty much on a daily basis. I'm just not fond of the plastic body, and only use it for my secondary camera (Fuji X-T1 with 18mm compact prime lens) Wanted to buy the Capture Pro but it's not what I'm after. all I want is a metal body instead of plastic. v3 addresses that and looks like the no-brainer decision .

yeah, I'm holding out for the v3, I dragged my heels during their KS for it, and missed it, but for the size and redesign, I think it'll be plenty worth the full price :)

Purchased this last time around and its been really useful. I had it clipped on my back strap when I went on hikes in Hawaii. It kept my A7rII w/ 16-35mm f4 lens confidently steady throughout all my hikes.
I highly recommend peak design‘s clips! I’ll be taking them to Norway this Novembe.

These clips are fantastic, highly recommended for hikers/backpackers who like to keep a camera handy. I've used mine with an Olympus OM-D E-M5 MkII on day hikes and a week-long backpacking trip and been very happy with it. I've been able to fit it to every pack I've used, and it feels very secure. Nice not to have to think about whether or not my camera will take a tumble when I'm scrambling around exposed catwalks.
Really a great piece of gear. Get one.

It's good! Only had it ~9 months and haven't really put it through its paces yet, but so far it + the 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens make for a reliable, reasonably versatile (and weather-resistant) combo in the backcountry. I also use a Peak Design wrist leash when I'm hand-carrying, as the grip is not quite as secure on its own as on other cameras. Overall a little heavier than I'd like for backpacking, but still lighter than my full-frame DSLR. I'd previously tried a Panasonic Lumix LX100 for backpacking but wasn't satisfied with the image quality. I'm pretty happy with the Olympus so far.

I use these all the time now but never without the added piece that distributes the weight. This is on day and large backpacks. I don't use this on a belt as it doesn't hang well.

Hmm, in that case I wonder if it would work for me. My cameras are 1000g or less, lens included. How secure would you feel having to run with it? Not fun for sure - but would it stay on?

Secure is not a problem. I use the Canon 5DIII and Sony A7RII with the 24-70 2.8 and up. It is the carrying of everything. The padded stabilizer that can be purchased that I feel needs to be use with the system.

Why the hell is there never a SHARE link on things that I don't want to buy, but that might lure my friends to Massdrop, and give me a credit?!? I was told that if I got five friends to join massdrop that I would get a present. Then massdrop reneged on that promise, and now I have to get five friends to actually BUY something. I'm not sure if massdrop will renege on that promise too or not, but at least I should get credit.

Bought the Capture Pro a few months ago for considerably more and like the convenience and quality.
The problem I'm having is finding a backpack whose straps aren't too wide or thick. I use hiking backpacks like the Osprey Atmos and Kelty Redwing and it's almost impossible to get the clip on those straps. Works fine on small daypacks with less padding though.
Just something to keep in mind if you're a hiker.

I have one of These, and frankly I find that they are best suited to the backpack. On the belt, the rigidity of these plates is a bit of a hassle. I prefer my spyder holster For most days

I just tried to place an order and after inputing all my information I could not hit the "join" button. My friend tried the same and he was also unable to order anything. It doesn't help to refresh the screen, open up a new window, etc. I had been looking forward to buying this but am unsure why within the past hour I went from being able to purchase it to no longer having this option. Please help! Thank you!

Mine was extremely low quality, and I never trusted it holding my expensive camera. I should have tried to return this to Peak Design...heck, I need to unsubscribe from their mailing list. Don't plan on making a PD mistake like that again in the future.
Apparently another company makes a fully plastic clone. I may end up trying that one out. For a 1/3rd of the cost (and hopefully higher build quality).

DEFINITELY. It's called the PolarPro Strapmount. I've seen glowing reviews for the $25-30 device, but haven't played with it personally. Their other gear has lived up to their cost/benefit ratios.
The PD gear had all the bells and whistles and was upwards of nearly $70 all in. I had such very high hopes for the kit for both use with my full frame Sony as well as my GoPros. But as soon as I received it, it was apparent that the quality was just lacking. Poor fitment, the aluminum casting was weak, and the knobs/security device was nowhere near what I was expecting. Especially for the price...
I probably should reach out to PD. It's been months...but I was so disappointed when originally opening that box, I simply packed it back up and left it with my other camera gear that didn't quite meet the mark. Thank you for talking me down a little here. We'll have to see what happens after the Holidays here.

Interesting. I checked out the Polar Pro and it looks like it might work well with a GoPro or lightweight camera. I wouldn't trust my Mark III on it even if it came with a universal plate like the Peak Designs (so when I set up my RRS tripod head I can quickly drop my camera onto it). I'll look into the company more later, and if necessary and possible will represent PD in a patent suit against PP in return for a bunch of gear....
If you end up getting one, let us know. (I wouldn't exactly say it got glowing reviews; 4.0 out of 5.0 on Amazon is not all that great for a non-electronic piece of gear).
The offer to buy your PD stands!
