For the people that already own this: can you use it with a backpack on (as a sling strap)?? I have a regular sling strap without adjusting slider and it just plain sucks to use when you are wearing a backpack. I was thinking about getting the Clutch wrist strap to still be protected against damage but not having to hassle with the backpack as much. Anyone here who has the Clutch by any chance and can recommend it?

DaanI'm not really sure exactly what you're trying to describe, but I use this strap while I'm wearing a backpack. There's no doubt that the backpack gets in the way, but they coexist.

hyperlinkedWell the fact that I can't use my 'normal' sling strap because it doest adjust in length and the backpack holds it in place, so it's practically useless in that case.
But you say you aren't having troubles to a point you cant recommend the strap?

DaanOh I see. You're talking about a sling strap that hooks into a backpack like this? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1081010-REG/blackrapid_ras1c_1a0_backpack_strap.html
This wouldn't be used in the same way. It fits onto your camera more or less like the strap that came with your camera. Well, it has an optional anchor plate that screws into the tripod mount on your camera to allow you to fasten one end of the strap into bottom instead of on both sides of the camera body.
I'm not really having any difficulties using this with a backpack. I was just pointing out the obvious that if you have a backpack strap over each shoulder, adding a third strap starts to feel clumsy if you need to access your backpack or you're doing some shooting that requires you to be very mobile.

DaanAs for the clutch, I love the thing. I pull off the bottom when I put my camera in it's case, and then put it back on easily. Easy to adjust and a large comfortable pad.
