Dont' get the sizing information. What does "half waist" stand for? Very interested in buying, but don't want to get the wrong size.

MC_GrammerThat's not a particularly helpful response. The top google results for how to measure a half waist say to lay pants flat, and then measure edge to edge on the waist. Like my earlier question, understanding where that measurement applies to (on this particular garment) would be helpful. According to the sizing chart, these run from 26" waist for the S to a 'whopping' 29" for the XL. In normal clothing, I'm a 35" waist. While I'd imagine a base layer being smaller, I don't really have 6" less of hips for these to dig into even with an XL.
Furthermore, the size guide post on Peak-to-Plateau's website (linked by engearment_dave below), has a completely different measurement (hips) listed, with different sizes.

pagulloThe half waist means the width of the waist when lying flat. So from one side of the waistband to the other.
The reason for giving it like this is because the sizing is small, and it is best to measure another pair of leggings that you own to figure out what size you will be.
If unsure on your size, go larger.

SidewinderXYes they are unfortunately small, and wont fit everyone.
The size guide on our website is not a correct indicator, and it is best to rely on the sizing chart provided in the description.
