I attached the finder to my son's blankie bc he loses it all the time and can't sleep without it... It didn't work right away even after pairing worked. I had to reset the finder and then it worked fine for a while. Now my son lost his blankie and it shows up on the GPS locator screen and is connected somehow so I see it is around the house somewhere, yet it will no longer FIND it and make a beeping noise so we can easily find it. Is it bc I rebooted my phone? Anyway this is beyond frustrating. If it can't keep track of this stupid blankie for us then it's useless. I also had to disable the find phone feature bc it is annoying to have my phone make noise if the finder is accidentally pressed. I already use Google or Google Home to find my phone anyway if lost. Highly recommended btw! It sucks that it only comes with 2 locatable devices -- one that looks like a keychain and one that is like a credit card. I never lose my wallet. I can't figure what to use this cumbersome device on. The finder itself was a little too big and bulky for my needs but I guess it's really designed for ppl who really lose their car keys or something it can be chained to. Dunno why I got this device at all now that I see it is the Bluetooth pairing that seems to be the issue not the GPS. How can I re-pair with a lost device? How can I find it ever again?? Useless and lost now.

Sadly, I have to concur with above users about Pebble Bee Honey -- Bluetooth connection dropped and rarely reconnected when it did work, now unit is dead after a few months on keychain. Not worth replacing battery. And I have a second one, new in box.
Does anyone know if Pebble Bee has identified these issues or is replacing/repairing product so that it's actually usable?

Ok so the Pebblebee has stop working completly. What a desapointment. DON'T expect to use this gadget to find something important. What a rip-off. I think it "worked" only for a couple of weeks at best. And by a couple I mean 3 to 4 weeks. And by working I mean, reboot the app everytime you use it, not getting the notification when the device leaves or return in range and a very limited range. I bough 2 of these, one for me and one to give as a gift. Let me tell you this thing will not be wrapped under the x-mas tree. One morning, the peeblebee's light was on and wouldn't turn off. I had the remove the battery. And the software is crap. What a PITA. So what do I do if I want a refund for these pieces of junk?

Hardware seems well built, but the app is horrendous. It looses all settings on reboot, including the connection to the pebble bee.
Pretty much turns this into an expensive white name tag.

Yea I got my units for more than a week ago and cannot recommend it to anyone until the pair dropping issues are resolved. I was using it on an nexus 4 and a galaxy note 3,it seems to work slightly better on my note, less random Bluetooth disconnection, also the app is annoying when you don't allow cloud service you get stacked notifications when you open the app and have to click OK 5-to tens times when you are signed in reminding me my cloud service function is off. As everyone else is saying basically you are just letting the app refresh and scan to look for the pebble since the connection will drop and the app will not reconnect properly. All in all I am disappointed in the pebble as I felt it should have been more intuitive and streamlined in its operation, but it is basic, also I never got the range finders to work properly on either of my phones, it would tell me my bee would randomly get lost even though it was in my hands or starting to leave the hive. I bought 2 of them also, so there must be alot of faulty units going around. I guess it will work in a pinch, but not like the videos all, don't expect to be data logging your pets adventures! , I would not trust this to find or keep something very important from getting lost.
It is dissapointing to see the negative reviews. I bought this on an earlier drop as a gift for someone, and now I'm worried that it won't actually work. Buying something for myself and having it not work is one thing...but I'll feel like a total jerk giving as a gift and having it not function properly.

I was considering this as a dual Me/Her Christmas present but after reading the discussion, looking at the app reviews, and noting that the http://pebblebee.com/shop-page/ is less than the MSRP ($24.99 compared to the $29.99 Massdrop listed), I have decided to pass.
