Good to know that when my Boeing 737 Max goes down in the Indian Ocean, all my watches will eventually come bobbing to the surface l--well protected, and dry as a bone (even if I don't)!

They would do as well at the Salvation Army thrift store, judging from past comments

I use peli case to transport high value electrical equipment for work. They are the best products in the business and keep products safe. For watch cases they are a bit of an oddity, you use peli case in environments where they'll be exposed to a lot of knocks, drops etc. it's for industry and other heavy applications. I don't see your valuable swiss watches being manhandled in this way to warrant protection like this. For valuable watches it's better to be discrete and not show that you're carrying something of value while travelling. I think for carrying your watch collection there are more discrete ways of doing so. It's also not a great look to have on your night stand or wardrobe or dresser.

Two of these would do the trick. In your carry on/backpack. I got one when it was offered here and I have traveled with 3 watches routinely. Certainly offers enough protection for my needs. But I didn't run with the bulls in Pamplona with my backpack either so your needs may vary. https://drop.com/buy/wolf-blake-watch-rolls

When traveling, I roll my Patek Philippe in a pair of dirty socks.

All four of a pelicans toes are united by webbing, meaning they have totipalmate feet. This is unlike other water birds such as duck or geese, but similar to cormorants, gannets, and of course the boobies. Pelicans are also mouth breathers, as their nostrils are actually sealed off. Make of this what you will.

If you want to store watches in a pelican case... get the pelican 1495 from case club. I hope DROP is listening. They should offer the 1495 version from case club... it holds 32 watches. The 1200 is better for travel and the 1495 is better for storage.

Unbelievable. I bought an 1120 (non-watch specific) and cut my own holes for (3) watches. I even cut a narrow slit to carry a couple of NATOs. Then, I bought some gray foam pipe insulation for the pillows. It cost me about $30 total and a bit of effort. Granted, it doesn’t hold all of my time pieces, but it’s good for travel (May still be too bulky if you’re trying to pack it in your luggage). This drop is not appealing to me.

Pelican 1200 watch case! There is no way that I need a case that holds 1200 watches! Even if they are made of titanium heck even plastic I don't think I can carry it!

This is a watch case equivalent of keeping one's phone in one of those silly "holsters" on the belt. Not "cool" or "tactical", just very lame.

Maaaaan I just ordered the 1400 10watch version direct from Nalpak! I’m traveling for work for a lot of this year so these cases are perfect for that. Good price on this too. MD shipping is slow but definitely cheaper to Aus!
