MASSDROP: Please get back to me before this drop ENDS! I've asked this question before when this pen was offered, and got NO answer. --------------Question:-------------- Pelikan now offers a newer, brighter and more marbled barrel for this Classic M205 fountain pen, and markets it as such on retail websites. The NEW, "improved" pen barrel:

marlabeeInteresting difference... I've asked our vendor about this, but I probably won't hear back before the drop ends. It's probably safe to assume that the version we are selling is the version pictured on our description page.
