I hope you guys have good packaging material for the shipment :) They will almost cross the earth to be able to reach me.
Thanks again for everyone making this drop possible!
Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Pelikan Edelstein Ink (2-Pack) and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 6/5.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 6/1.
I do pay 14.99€ per bottle here in Germany for every of the fragances at my favorite stationary store. On amazon.de it is even less. But I have of course no idea how that tanslates to the american market, Pelikan is of course a german brand.
For the ink itself. I personally use the sapphire and ruby colours. Both of them behave nice, a bit more on the dryer side, so the ink likes wet writing pens. I use ruby with a pilot prera with M nib and the sapphire with a Faber-Castel Basic. Both of them do very well in that combination.
I must say not having topaz, having only 2 sapphires, and forcing onyx was the death of this drop, you may have not been able to do anything better but we don't have to buy it as well. Do try to get some noodler's products in also.
