I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MODEL OF THE 205. The 205 is a great pen. The demonstrator is made of awful, awful plastic. Mine is very gently used and showing tons of scuffs and scratches just from its own cap It's also IMMENSELY prone to staining. Even pelikan 4001 blue ink seems to stain it. The M205 is a wonderful pen, the steel nib is as soft as many gold nibs. It posts crazy deep and just falls to hand brilliantly. But I badly wish I'd gotten a solid color model.

HoneybadgersI have to agree with you. Mine didn't stain or get tons of scratches, but the pen did look A LOT LESS impressive than it's other-colored siblings. My friend took a look at this pen with the Cafe creme version of M205 side-by-side once and thought the clear version was a knockoff... The M200/205 are amazing pens, but get a different color (preferably one with a less transparent color, those ones definitely look more expensive than the transparent ones).
