Measuring less than 5 inches capped, the M205 ranks among the smallest pens in the Pelikan family. Still, it offers a comfortable writing experience, even for users with large hands Read More
Drop dead gorgeous green shading with a responsive steel nib and reliable built-in piston filling system - what’s not to love? Excellent price break as well.
This is my first Pelikan pen, as well as my first demonstrator. While I typically prefer a metal-bodied pen, I am wildly impressed with this pen and ink set. The build quality, nib performance, ink flow and color are outstanding.
My broad nib skips on upstrokes. So I'm going to have to get it tuned. It's disappointing that for so much money, quality control is still a problem for Pelikan. It is good value for a special edition and the ink is great. But spending more to get the pen to work is a hassle.
I thought that after the honeymoon period I would start to dislike the pen and look for alternatives. This is not the case with this pen. This is my first Pelikan and I find myself looking for an excuse to write with it (which in my opinion is a good thing) all the time. The ink is fantastic as well. I am a bit biased as green is my favorite color but this shade of green is almost as if it was made to my specifications. All in all I am in love with this pen.
I had no problems with the pen writing fantastically straight out of the box. The ink is also excellent. Dark enough for professional use, with very little feathering or bleeding, even on cheaper paper. Would recommend.
This is my first Pelikan. I liked the Chrome accents, size, and color. My medium nib pen didn't write consistantly out of the box. It had hard starts and I had to hold it at an odd angle to get it write much. It has gotten better with use or adjustment. I still might get it tuned or try tuning when I get better at such things, but for the price, feel like I shouldn't have such issues. I'm still happy with the pen and ink.
For those of us who are Pelikan lovers, there’s nothing like a Pelikan. The pen is the M205 Olivine, which means that it is a base level (pretty much) Pelikan with piston fill and silver furnishings, and exactly like every other model in the 200 series, save for color. All that notwithstanding, it works like a Pelikan, writes like a Pelikan, because it is a Pelikan, and the quality is built into it.
