Pelikan Souveran M400 White Tortoise Fountain Pen

The Souveran M400 was the first Pelikan to be released in this eye-catching White Tortoise color scheme. The lightweight celluloid acetate barrel features Pelikan's signature Stresemann pattern in golden green, deep brown, and clear stripes. This translucent body allows you to see the ink inside the barrel, which is drawn from a bottle using the built-in differentiated piston filling mechanism that Pelikan introduced in 1929.

The White Tortoise model is fitted with the same 14-karat gold bi-color nib as other Souveran M400/405 models. Though the cap on earlier models had a weakness near the lip and a painted logo on top, the defect was fixed on these later models, which are appointed with a 24-karat gold-plated finial. The white piston knob is ringed in gold plated trim, as is the cap, which also features the signature pelican beak pocket clip.
