Looks like a soprod based movement wonder if the black dial would wear smaller

jumoSafe bet that it would. There isn’t *too* much extra width being added by the case. Still a bit large for a 3-hand dress watch IMO.

jumoSoprod: you are correct. I have a higher end complication of theirs and can attest to at least some first class movement finishing.

jumoThe movement is nice, and Perrelet has a good history of paying attention to detail on their finish work (nice dials and cases for sure)...but what's a definite no-go for me is 42.5mm. I'll wear a dive watch that size all day, but that's a tea saucer for a dressier watch, unless you have >7.5" wrists. Admittedly, however, I have 6.75" wrists, so I have a bit of large watch envy.
