CoachWesterTake them to any optician, or send them to a mail-order lenses-only specialty business like Lensabl.com (you'll still need a current prescription, of course). The dummy lenses are a model, allowing the prescription lenses to be cut to the correct dimensions. Even without dummy lenses, it's still possible.

Are the front of these black, with a gradual transition to coffee color around the nose area? Can;t tell if the fronts have brown near the top.

What kind of lenses do they have? Flat transparent non dioptric polycarbonate? Or no lenses at all? Does anybody know this?

YMMV, but in my experience similar hinges on similar pairs of Persol glasses bend like tinfoil. The more robust (5-leaf) hinges on their sunglasses are great. But whatever metal they use for these smaller hinges is VERY soft, and three leaves isn't enough to keep the material stable.
