CNI Laser: PGL-III 532nm (Green)

The PLG-III is Changchun New Industries Optoelectronics Technology's (CNI) green portable laser that has an output of 5mW. This particular laser outputs a wavelength of 532nm with a variance of plus or minus one nanometer. CNI is famous for its laboratory grade, stable, and durable lasers.
Built Tough
This PGL-III is a well crafted laser. It's aluminum construction and capacity to carry two C batteries gives it weight, all the threads on the body are smooth as silk, and the surface of the body is anodized black. It has a shutter that can be twisted open/closed with an eighth of a turn in either directions as a safety feature. The PGL-III has a noticeable green beam under low-light conditions and can be seen in mid-air. It also looks like a freaking light saber with it's heat sink covering the diode.
Note: These lasers should never be pointed at any flying objects or into anyone's face.
Easy to Use
The PGL-III is very easy to operate and use. Simply unscrew the battery cap at the bottom of the laser body and insert two C batteries with the polarity facing up and screw the cap back on tightly to insure a complete circuit. We used Duracell Alkaline for the photo shoot, but if you'd a little extra output it is recommended to use Li-ion instead. To activate the laser, simply press the blue button switch, a red LED will come on above the switch, and then twist the shutter open.
Safety Option
When you join this drop, you qualify for the LS-Y CNI laser goggles for $35 extra. The goggle has an Ocular Density (OD) of 2.5 and protects your eyes in the 516 to 590nm laser wavelengths. According to Laser Institute of America's (LIA) OD Calculator these goggles will protect your eyes against lasers in the 516 to 590nm range that has an average power output of 315mW in a continuous output for a period for more than 0.25 seconds.
