The Philips Fidelio X2 open-back headphones retain their popular predecessor’s solid aluminum construction, long-wearing comfort, and smooth, spacious sound—with a few notable improvements. The new drivers use the multilayered diaphragm technology first seen in the brand’s S2 IEMs, designed to deliver cleaner treble and more accurate bass. The 3.5-millimeter jack is a change from the X1, too, though a 6.3-millimeter adapter is included.
Note: This drop is limited to 520 units.
The 50-millimeter drivers use high-power neodymium magnets to reproduce your music's full dynamic range, while the pre-tilted speaker plates comfortably fit your ear's natural angle. Connected by a self-adjusting, lightweight headband (made of calfskin leather and breathable, three-dimensional mesh), the double-layered cushions and velour-covered memory foam ear pads are designed to dissipate pressure and heat. Plus, the detachable OFC low-impedance cable is equipped with a dedicated management clip for tangle-free use.
