I called Philips support team because of my replacement case that approved about 1 month ago. The reps was shock that I'm getting a replacement and said i was one of the few on the list, the rest being refunded because they're stopping x2 production. I'm not sure how much this reps knowledge of this, so take this as grain of salt. Been 3 week since they send out the replacement, still haven't received yet.

I read something similar to this on Reddit a while back also - seems to contradict the Philips post on their forums about the 'future' of their headphone production processes for the X2. I guess time will tell...
