ShreyasMaxDon't know much about either pair of cans but I do know that I keep hearing about how good the HD558's are, though I prefer the sound signature of the K553's that I have, I know that the HD558's are some of the best in this price range if you want a good sparkle in your treble. I listen to more Hip-hop so I am subjective to a powerful clean bass.

Need to know whether these would be a significant upgrade from Senn HD558 which I'm currently pairing with FiiO X3 + FiiO E12A. For portable use I'm using either of Havi B3 Pro1 or Denon D340 headphones. I'm targeting the Fidelio X2 for home use later this year, so please advise whether at 100 USD + shipping these are worth more than the X2's.
