Now, they’re ready to release the Pico Hotend, a revolutionary 3D printing nozzle that pairs metal construction and extensively tested parts for unmatched performance.
Pico de Metal
Starting with a single piece of aircraft grade stainless steel, every part of the Pico Hotend is machined and assembled in the USA for maximum quality control. The streamlined design minimizes additional parts, making the Pico lighter, more durable, and more flexible than other RepRap hotends. Leaks and failure points have been eliminated, exhaustive studies have optimized the thermal characteristics, and a custom made cartridge heater has increased reliability, all making the Pico Hotend the most reliable and versatile hotend on the market.
Make Your Own
On this drop, you have a few different options at checkout. First, choose your size between 1.75 and 3 mm. Then, choose a heater voltage of 12 or 24 Volt. Next, choose a brass nozzle in either 0.35, 0.4, 0.5, or 0.6 mm. For the mount, you can choose a Flat, Groove, or Groove for Bowden mount. Finally, choose a thermistor with either 300° C or 500° C capacity. If you don't know what to get, the safe bets for a beginner would be to choose 1.75 mm, 12 Volt, .5 mm and a Groove Mount Plate, but it is always good to have options!
