this is quite possibly fake or ai generated. if its not... its so laughably terrible - i wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole. there is little to no information about the details on this page, so i went hunting online for the manufacturer.
  • two different brands (possibly related, who knows) claim to be the developer of it.
  • the "exploded" view i honestly believe was done by ai as NOTHING is correct... labels point very obviously to the wrong parts, some parts have no label at all, and for some reason it has 4 different layers of plate foams.. two of which are labeled PTE, but are fully cut out around the switches
  • some manufacturers claim its magnetic... the renders/photos clearly show its mx mechanical. the piifox website says it comes with Piifox Dark Sparrow V2 Linear switches... but the graphics show dark owl switches .. and there is zero information on either ... and they look like the exact same switch.
  • the breakdown on the piifox website is just .... WOW. i have no idea if this is just horrific translation from badly written chinese, or if they are so inept that they just have no idea what to say... or - as previously concluded, its all written by AI. example: "7-layer filling provides exceptional tactile feel and high-fidelity sound quality." tactile feel? on a linear switch? from foam? "Each satellite switch is individually calibrated for exceptional quality" ... uhhh... what?

:: why does this state gasket mount... and no gasket mount shown at all in the exploded view? :: why are there 4 layers of plate foam? :: why is the foam making it a tactile experience? what exactly is happening here? :: "Gasket Structure with 7-Layer Shock Absorption" - what???? where? how? :: "Innovative Remote Control" - what exactly is being remote controlled?!?!?! :: says it has a "web based driver" but then tells you that you have to install a driver - why? (as well.... it now looks like their host has shut off the driver - it said the file was compromised and removed for our protection, and now it just says they havent paid their bill... so... not boding well) :: "Aluminum alloy top cover paired with a transparent PC bottom cover for a perfect blend of light and texture" - is there underglow? no images show that.... but... i honestly do not see ANY transparent polycarb in any photos... so... ?

mdotHi. I will be providing some answers. I am not affiliated with Piifox. I just speak Chinese. This is most likely not AI generated at all. Maybe the translation is. I'll be trying to answer some of the questions you have by looking at the Chinese listings and IC/In-stock posts that they have. There is a Web Driver available. https://app.qmk.top/ It's also available on their website linking to a Google Drive. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YlQXRQRoIZxaeosDxMct9Vi0l9aIM7qr/view Piifox is an "established" brand in China with a lot more credibility. There are multiple versions of the Walker75 available, the switch being advertised on DROP is the "Dark Warbler" switch, otherwise known as the Dark Owl switch which is listed here. Walker75 also comes with the "Dark Nightingale" switch, which is different from the Dark Owl. There is also a HE version, which uses Kaihua (Kailh) HE switches. The one being offered on DROP is the MX version. Please don't confuse it with the HE version. There are MULTIPLE different variants. The problem here is definitely a language barrier. The advertising for it makes complete sense in Chinese. Hi-Fi is a term used for "foam sandwiches" or what we know here as, "foamed up". They consider the Hi-Fi sound to be a combination of Case foam, Hotswap Socket foam, Plate foam, PE Sheet, and PET Sheet. So in your case of asking about the "four plate foams", it's really plate foam, a pet sheet, a pe sheet, and most likely plate foam pads. "Innovative Remote Control" is a poor translation of the joystick that is available near the screen. Tactile-experience is a mis-translation. I can fault them on this, its a language barrier thing. This can be more interpreted as a "responsive" typing experience from the gasket / foam structure. There is a silicon block that fills in the entire bottom case. There is also gasket mounting points and top mounting points on the PCB. The render doesn't show this, but if you watch a teardown video, you will see what I am talking about. This means the PC bottom is just there, most likely for just visual reasons and for the wireless antenna support. If you have any other questions, please let me know and I can do my best to answer. I just wanted to provide you some clarifications.
