How is this for daily note taking/ line variation? I've read a lot about this pen but I'd still love to hear more about it.

icTustwo different purposes. I like it for note taking - some people don't. It depends how hard you press when you write (this is pretty true for any flex nib). The falcon gives your lines character, but don't expect it to be all about line variation. It's rigid enough to be used for regular writing instead of just calligraphy/drawing
