Product Description
Known for its durable brass barrel and stainless steel nib that outperforms pens that retail at much higher prices, Pilot’s Metropolitan is the gold standard for fountain pens in its class. Compatible with both cartridges and converters, the Pilot Metropolitan offers a step up from disposable fountain pens that can’t be filled with bottled ink and won’t hold up to continued everyday use Read More
Got mine today and I have a question about the ink:
The leaflet reads 'use only Iroshizuku ink'. I think it's not a serious warning, I have a bottle of Faber-Castell that I intend to use.
Must I use Iroshizuku ink?
I don't understand. I could buy these for cheaper using a certain well-known online retailer.
Do a drop of of the rollerball versions of these at a price that is actually worth waiting a month for, and I'm in.
The price at the drop in Sep. 2018 was $24 (2 pack), which was a quite attractive to me then and I bought four of them.
I decided to buy some more for presents to acquaintances and waited for another round of drop. But now the price goes up to $35, much higher than $15 in Amazon (1 pack). What a waste of time!
Ummm, btw, is there any place where I can buy nibs only? Actually, the reason why I buy this pen is to transplant nib part to other pen.
