Whoa.. chill people.
No one used rude language while posting about the delay. Were just expecting the pens to be shipped around the projected shipping time. Why are some folks throwing around words like "instant gratification" and "throw their money at Massdrop"?
Most participants on this site are similar thinking folks looking for a best deal on a product they desire. Given the prices and wait times involved, it is safe to guess that no one who participates in the drops is looking for instant gratification or simply throwing their money.
Some, like me, are fairly new to the site and learning how the system works. Also realizing in this process that sometimes delays are inevitable. Let us experience a few drops and we will be much more tuned to the ways of Massdrop :)
I really appreciare GonzoTGreat and MonsiuerKirby for taking time to explain the process and delays. Thank you.

writeonDon't twist my words. I didn't say people who joined this drop were looking for instant gratification. I was merely trying to explain that the reason why people are anxious about the shipping date is because we are all (including me) used to getting things on demand. People nowadays are eager to hear an update and cannot sit patiently still to wait for one. I admit, I am the same. I long for that notification about a drop update. Again, it wasn't meant to attack those asking questions about the delay.
I did not mean to come off as rude or arrogant, but do not put words in my mouth, thank you.

writeonAlso, I didn't mean that anybody had complained on THIS particular drop. Although one guy did say "If it doesn't ship by the end of this week, I would like a refund." He wasn't mean, he just didn't know that the shipping times aren't controlled by Massdrop. But people have gotten quite upset on other discussions here that I've seen!
