Although unlikely to tip the scale in my case (I already have 5), would a new, lower price drop be available? When we discussed this before, you mentioned that it would take A LOT more people to get the price lower. Okay. This is an absurdly popular drop: 200+ in just a couple days. Even if the point was 1,000 people, I'm sure many more people would jump on it. This wouldn't prevent folks from outright "joining" now at the current price (which is pretty good as it is) but might be able to create an even larger group jumping in for this gem.
Also, for anyone on the fence, even though I'm asking if a lower drop price is possible, I still think this is a good deal. These pens are solid quality, look snazzy and make great gifts for anyone you're interested in "turning" toward fountain pens.
There is a very slim chance that we'll find out tomorrow and be able to add it, but that's unlikely.
Perhaps as a separate drop? While I could create a poll for it, I think we already know that, for the right price+shipping total, it would be a VERY popular item. Given that Massdrop has sold over 7,000 Metropolitan fountain pens recently, I think it's safe to assume that it would be a solid seller.
So ... here are my questions:
Would you consider selling the Con-50 converter on its own as a separate drop? The Lamy z24 was nicely discounted. A similarly discounted Con-50 (say, around $4) would likely be a very popular item.
Should I bother creating a poll for it or is this something for which you know the demand is already there? Do the drops have to be "in response" to a poll?
