Some cheap ink recommendation for a first timer anyone?

Lt.Danpersonally i wouldn't go to cheap, i recommend anything from Noodler or Diamine. I personally use Diamine Eclipse ink http://www.gouletpens.com/D7081/p/D7081

Lt.DanWell, the included ink cartridges have you covered. Try these out first. Then find any colour that you like and buy a bottle. Then see your money fly out of your wallet as you spend more and more on pens and ink.
Noodler's, Diamine, Waterman are pretty affordable and will perform well.
