this is a fantastic pen to whoever is interested. I bought this the last time it was a drop and I absolutely love it. I got the fine nib and was absolutely amazed when I picked it up and started writing with it.

da_vin_ciexcept any expensive fountain pen is too fucking heavy and prone to mishap and mischieve, and this one in particular has too springy a tip for my long time peasant hero 616 taste. fyi hero 616 is THE king for bang/buck in any fountain pen in the world, bar none. buy a 10 pack for what, 10 bucks? or less? on ebay and you pick out at least 1-3 that writes as good as any sub 200$ fountain pen. and just trash the others.

lyrill"everyone who knows about fountain pens" I've read several reviews on the Hero 616 (which is a knock off the Parker 15 for anyone unfamiliar) and while most reviews are generally good, I don't know of anyone who uses the pen regularly. The vast majority of people still gravitate towards the Lamy 2k, or Vanishing Point, or whatever more expensive pens they were using before. It's a good deal, but ultimately not what most people are looking for in a fountain pen. It's a good pen to buy, for the price, but it will by no means be the last fountain pen most people buy
