Product Description
For anyone who loves the convenience of a retractable nib but wants an alternative to Pilot’s original Vanishing Point, the Fermo model has a lot to offer. This design trades its sibling’s click mechanism for a smooth, silent twist action Read More
I was skeptical about this and other vanishing point pens but this writes like a dream and feels well balanced. The pocket clip is actually helpful when writing. Only complaint is that you need to see a video on how to fill the pen and the converter dosen't hold much. The pen also is not flashy which in many cases is an advantage. I'd buy it again!!
Yeah, I got one as well...the converter was a con20 I think. Didn't work well at first. Had to do some flushing and had a spare one to use.
The pen writes well, and I like the feel in my hand.
I'm wondering if anyone else got a wonky converter (I also got a blue ink cartridge, not black, but that's no big deal). I wasn't expecting any converter, but when I tried to use it my pen leaked like a sieve. I took the converter out and it's like a con-50 but without the agitator -- has anyone else had this experience/know what the converter is?
I found that even after flushing/wiping/q-tipping, I had the ink from the converter coming out of the threads that hold the barrel together (I know it was that ink because it was a different color than the cartridge, which seems to be working [knock wood]). Is there any chance that's the issue? I'm planning to just syringe refill cartridges I think.
AndieBAfter letting cleaned the pen dry and sit a few days, and trying a CON-50 converter again, I'm able to get the pen to work without leaking. I think the converter that came with the pen is not appropriate for the pen.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Pilot Fermo Twist Action VP Fountain Pen and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 9/5.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 9/6.

Could anyone briefly speak to the difference between this pen and the vanishing point beyond the twist vs. click top retraction mechanism? Only a dozen left and would likely jump with a bit more info. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for your useful observations. I've been wrestling with the choice between this, the VP and the new Decimo but was going to bite the bullet anyway with 97 of 104 sold. But it was the middle of the night for me and I drifted off to awaken to "drop ended." Maybe I'll find one through a different outlet since they're out of production & it seems unlikely that Massdrop will be able to source the numbers needed for a good drop.
I too need to know about Canadian shipping: when I try to order it, it doesn't appear like I can ship it here, yet there is no such notice on the product page... Please let us know ASAP.
