Last minute thoughts about this drop:
About this drop:
1. If you live in CONUS, the price comes out to about $21.50/12-pack including shipping. Amazon has some 12-packs for around $22-$25/12-pack depending on when you purchase and whether or not you have Prime. Sometimes shipping is extra, sometimes it's not. If shipping is included but it's not eligible for Prime, good luck wit the tracking.
2. A quick search on Amazon (the default place many of us check) suggests that not all colors are available in 12-pack boxes. I could only find black and purple on a cursory search. I presume one could get the other colors from eBay, but that comes with its own set of risks.
If you want black or purple and want them soon, buy them from Amazon and not here.
Otherwise, this is a pretty decent deal.
About the pens:
These pens pens are fairly versatile. The are especially good for a few things:
1. Daily Carry. If you don't want to carry/lose something expensive and flashy, these are subtle, cheap and durable. I have about 2-dozen (assorted colors, etc) and have yet to have one leak. Why do I have 2-dozen in assorted colors?
2. They can be modified: - 2-A: The branding can be removed with the right solvent (I used 90% rubbing alcohol on cotton balls) in the right environment (outside or very well ventilated area) with the right safety precautions (goggles, glove, no children or pets), a little elbow grease and some common sense (I'm not recommending you do this - I'm just sharing what I did for myself).
-2-B: They can be refilled. Plenty of info about that online, but I found this website amusing and helpful:

There are other ways to do it, too, that don't necessarily involve removing the nib that might be good for 2nd, 3rd and later refills: syringe method demonstrated on youtube, hot-water-to-create-vacuum method posted somewhere. I wanted to get mine completely clean before my first refill. BSB does not mix with any other ink, stains, but is such an awesome color and I'm a big fan. Anyway, there's a pic of a modded pen with BSB:

3. Bringing people into the fountain pen fold. Folks are always asking to borrow a pen, right? How about handing them one of these? If they forget to return it, it was less than $2. If they give it back, ask them if they liked it and/or would use up the rest of the ink. If so, I tell them to keep it.
4. These are especially handy when trading with other fountain pen people after being refilled with cool inks - the pen holds almost exactly 2ml when full.
Other things to keep in mind:
1. I have found these pens to be wet writers when compared to the rest of my collection. Also relative to my other pens, they seem to have a longer uncapped dry-out time, but take a little extra encouragement to get going again once it does dry out.
2. The stock ink is fairly saturated and will bleed through cheap (20# copy) paper to varying degrees. Least bleed-through was with the dark blue; most bleed was with turquoise.
As usual,
I hope this helps anyone making a last minute decision.
Cheers.
