Sounds like this little Receiver has got the twenty-something crowd stumped! They can't fathom who would be interested in this particular unit (no 5.0, no phono, no USB, no optic, etc..).
I'll bet it would be fine for a guy who already has a set of speakers he was happy with, but wants to update an older Receiver. He lives in a house (his own), doesn't have to wear headphones (has no parents telling him to "turn it down"). Can play his stuff loud as he likes, but doesn't like it crazy-loud. Outgrew the novelty of "vinyl" years ago, has plenty of music on his laptop, doesn't really buy-into the Hi-Rez bull shit and is happy with the way his Mp3s and FLAC files sound as-is (and already owns a couple thousand of them), and gets whatever else he needs from Spotify or Amazon Music. Also isn't into the Fast and Furious franchise and has no interest in trying to recreate Movie Theatre sound in his living room.
In other words, doesn't see audio equipment as a pecker contest.

RayFSpotify has quite good quality music. I've tried to download Spotify to MP3 and played them on my receiver offline, it's pretty hard to tell the difference from FLAC.

The fact remains that if a product is deliberately made to look like it supports a function that it does not in reality do, that is an intentional fraud. It is obviously correct to call a fake for what it is.
However, I simply asked whether this receiver used genuine (banana compliant) posts or fake ones and nobody has answered that question.
Would somebody please answer the question so that we all may know?

I couldn't care less, but this is a massive fail. What happened? Does no one at Drop(dead) proofread their listings? Example: specs say width is "7.1" inches. Amazing! Oh, wait, it's seventeen inches -- the industry standard. Duh! [Slaps palm to forehead...]

It's a missing digit. Try rereading my comment. And it's just one example of many in this incompetent offer. I was looking out for naive shoppers who would be misinformed and inconvenienced. I guess "no good deed goes unpunished."
And I'm known "around the office" as a stickler for details. If I made the kinds of mistakes that are in this listing, my clients would never rehire me.

Where' s the USB input? I don't see it on the rear panel. Is this a Class-D amp? Or AB? Too many unanswered details to risk a purchase.

You're half-right. It's buyers, not specs, which are circumspect (or should be). Drop specs are often suspect -- especially in this case.

With the built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology (ver. 4.2), you can easily stream songs from compatible devices such as smartphones and tablets. The SX-10AE features A2DP and AVRCP profiles, with support for SBC and AAC codecs.
(I hate having to answer my own questions!)
BTW: ten-bucks more on Amazon, specs might be more accurate though.

It's a cheap solution for stereo, but I'm puzzled why it's being offered here. The specs are wrong - there is no HDMI/video processing. If you're going to offer a receiver/integrated amp, let's see something interesting.

Yet I bet you’re one of the members here revelling in the sonic abilities of all the Chinese branded $40 ‘tube’ amps? If not I expect I’d see you rambling in the comment section for those on Drop too?...or it’s just reasonably priced Pioneer network capable 2 channel stereo receivers you have nightmares over?

Absolutely. I haven't bought a CD in a very long time, either. You're reading too much into my comments. Some of my favorite smart people love vinyl and CD's. I respect them and their opinions, as I respect yours. After my first iPod, I never looked back.
This is a nice unit. There is absolutely a market for it. For me, its got elegant simplicity. I kinda want one out of sheer techno-lust, it's just that the space it would fill in my life is already filled by multiple HomePods. I can see myself pointing an iPad at the BT and loving it. Pioneer have always made quality stuff.
