I hope these lessons learned get applied to the k-type asap so there aren't any delays on that drop or any other future keyboard drop.
Have to say the lack of communication is really annoying. It's not acceptable to come back a week after they are supposed to ship to tell us it will be two more weeks before you can even estimate a ship date. It should have been obvious at the time of the last update that FCC approval was going to be a potential roadblock. We should have been told back then.
Especially since false promises were given about FCC regulations months ago. So its hard to bite this bullet..
I do have to admit this delay upset me more than the others and there could only be one reason why. Your Communication about the delay and how it was handled. If you want to keep customers from being upset and continuing to buy from MD, then i would suggest being as transparent as possible and keeping us up to date. Customers dont ever ever like being in the dark. Ever...
Is there a chance these boards wont pass this additional compliance testing? If so, what are the implications?
Your update implies not all the correct documentation was already in place, why?
I understand costs are associated with testing, but compliance is the law. Are there various levels of compliance requirements?
Can you explain the component issue you mentioned? Is this at all related to the additional testing requirements?
Why weren't these issues presented to the community as they occurred?
