Got shocked today when I got back to my desk at work today, now I have something like 6 dead keys. Starting to think the massive wait wasn't worth it. It was plugged in with a quality cable into a laptop that was also plugged in and charging. Will I have to wait until like April for a replacement pcb? Edit: spelling

samue1991What switches do you use, and have you tried changing them?

BergvikI use kailh box black. I can try switching the switches but that is likely not the problem. Two whole columns of keys went dead in an instant after the shock, it's definitely a pcb problem. Even if I have to pay for a replacement pcb it's still disappointing to have an expensive but useless assembly of aluminum, steel, and plastic until I can get a new one which could take God knows how long. It's very disappointing and for now I'm just waiting for customer service to respond to me

samue1991That tells me that the method of fixing the conductive case to the board doesn't ground properly :(

mossymountainI would agree. I was a little concerned something like this might happen, and I've looked for a good place to ground myself at my work desk but nothing around works well. With all the supply issues this drop has had I'm worried I'm going through end up with a bricked kb and no way to get it working again...
