The music nib is the only one that's a deal here, the rest are $90 shipped from japan.
Thanks for letting us know, could you please share a link so we can take a look?
We're aware of knockoffs on Amazon for under $100, but nothing legit at that price.
We have spoken with the vendor about these pens and they are trying to address it.
Though you have to sign up to see the prices.
I bought from Engeika before and so have alot of people from the fountain pen network and they are legit. He buys directly from the manufacturer and ships it. Sometimes offers free EMS shipping when you spend over 100 bucks.
Thanks @Nyen.If you login to see prices, you can also see that very few combinations are actually in stock.
But, if you want one of those styles (mostly UEF and C), and have PayPal, it might work out.
I love Massdrop but this is just not true, you can order the 3776 century from Engeika for 84$ and they are not knockoffs. Still, Engeika takes forever to ship, you have no local warranty (unless you're in Japan) and NA stores are more expensive than the Massdrop price.
Heads up, especially for @abrightpan and @KarlBlessing,
We've inquired about the origin of the pens listed here and in other online marketplaces and been told that Platinum is aware of numerous reports of knockoffs being sold.
Sometimes better prices are legitimately available for certain styles, or in different regions, and we openly acknowledge when that happens. but we caution members in this particular case.
It's the first I've heard of the Century 3776 being counterfeited.
