I'm still waiting for a company to come out with an "ultra-low profile" USB-C cable that folds back on the flat axis, rather than shooting off sideways. I want to find a USB-C cable with a flat bottom that comes out behind my Nintendo Switch , so it doesn't feel obtrusive when gaming while plugged in on handheld mode.

for stability of the cable connections, most companies won't do this(because they'd probably have to modify and have a custom connector made for just them) Most cable companies use off the shelf connectors, from digikey and other wholesale suppliers like this one: https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/m/millmax/usb-3_1-type-c-connectors

you'll probably have more luck just getting a stand that allows you to plug the switch in. You could always get one with integrated USB-C charging, but you'd be putting a lot of trust in a random chinese electronics manufacturer. Here's a cheap plastic stand: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2017-Universal-Playstand-Desktop-Stand-For-Nintendo-Switch-NS-Game-Console-Holder-Adjustable-Angle-Foldable-Base/32800977881.html
