How does the durability of this product compare to others?
I have been using powerbear c type for a few years now and in my they have excellent durability in my experience. They are 2 for 10.

Now looking a the pictures this are male to female not charging cables.
AcciThe USB-A end doesn't look like it has a sheath... it looks like it just terminates to a male connector. It looks too thin to be female.
Edit: Found this image on their website:
I had previously purchased a few of these cables(Lightning and Micro-USB), through Massdrop, and found them to be very flimsy. Within the first month of regular use the cable would separate from the plug housing at one end or the other.
I currently have 1 remaining, and I leave it permanently attached to a wireless charging dock. This way there is no need to unplug it.
If you're looking for something like this, I would highly recommend FUSE Chicken. While they are a little more expensive, I have had a couple for several years, with regular use.
Excuse me, but judging by the pictures here these are not charging cables at all. AFAIK charging cable needs to have male interfaces on both ends since I'm not aware of any chargers that can somehow connect with female USB-A. These are extension cables for flash drives and other USB peripherals to something like MacBooks or other slim laptops (or phones).
I know, you’re expecting a sheath around the plug where none exists. I thought the same thing last year. But these are the correct connector. This is what they look like when you turn it towards you.
glennacOk, now I see it. Massdrop shoud probably add a picture like this to prevent confusion. Those ones they have in the description, although pretty, are really misleading.
Hopefully other configurations will appear in future drops. Surprised there was no Lightning options this time. Also C-to-Lightning and C-to-Micro are becoming more desirable these days. Maybe next time?
